Exchange Club of Indian River
Whether raising funds to combat child abuse, staffing GiveAKidAFlagToWave events, or enjoying legendary Fifth Wednesday socials, Exchange Club of Indian River is a lively part of Indian River County.
We are a group of men and women working together to make our community a better place to live. Each year our members (called Exchangites) rally together to provide essential services for the community and for children.
Exchange Club of Indian River has provided the community with programs in youth activities, service, and Americanism since 1973. It is affiliated with America’s service club, the National Exchange Club.
Members meet for lunch at C.J. Cannon’s Restaurant, 3414 Cherokee Drive, Vero Beach, at 12:00 noon every Wednesday (except on the fifth Wednesday in months containing five Wednesdays when an evening social event is held). Meetings feature programs and speakers from a wide range of business, government and civic, charity, personal, and professional topics.

Our Foundation’s next major event of the year is the Fourth Annual Black & White Masquerade Ball to be held 6:00-10:00 pm Saturday, October 6, at the Vero Beach Country Club. Another recent fundraiser was the Second Annual Toss Out Child Abuse Charity Cornhole Tournament held Saturday, March 10, at the Walking Tree Brewery.
The club is also a partner in the Vero Beach Air Show; the most recent show was held April 21-22, 2018, at the Vero Beach Regional Airport.
The sole mission of Exchange Club of Indian River Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is the prevention of child abuse. We believe every child in our community should have the opportunity to grow up healthy, safe, and happy. We support local youth-related projects dedicated to its prevention.
